Join us for a full weekend of teachings, worship, and rich fellowship with like-minded current and future leaders at Charis Canyon! This annual event is a powerful catalyst for leadership development for ages 30 and up.

• The purpose of the Church Security Advanced training weekend is to build on the skills taught in “Church Security Basic” and connect the security teams from across our GMI church network for communication, information sharing, and training.
• You must have attended Church Security Basic, or one of our comparable trainings to attend this course.  If you have questions about whether you qualify for this course, talk to your Church Security team leader.
• We will be drawing from the expertise in our different churches and doing the training in-house.
• Training will include both classroom and range time.
• Includes snacks Friday evening, three meals on Saturday, and Sunday breakfast.  Your registration fee will also include targets and handouts.
• All participants will need to furnish their own shooting gear and ammo.

• The purpose of the Church Security Basic training weekend is to connect the security teams from across our GMI church network for communication, information sharing, and training.
• This event focuses on the basic handgun skills needed to use a handgun properly and safely in a defensive situation.   Although it is geared toward our church security teams, it also serves as a “Defensive Pistol 101” class for those wanting more training beyond what is taught in License to Carry Classes.
• We will be drawing from the expertise in our different churches and doing the training in-house.
• Training will include both classroom and range time.
